Hello, welcome to Class 3. I am Mrs Aitken the class teacher. I am also the science and computing lead. This is my fifth year at Bickerstaffe and I love it here teaching the juniors. Before coming to Bickerstaffe I taught in a number of other village schools but Bickerstaffe is by far my favourite! 

I love teaching in the juniors because of the fun we have making our learning exciting. I am passionate about technology and I use it to give our learning a purpose, for example writing blogs or reviews online. I also get very excited about all things science-this means we very often plan and carry out experiments and observations. 

When I am not in school, I love spending time with my children and planning exciting days and trips out! My favourite place to visit is Harry Potter World!
